The conference was officially opened by His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, who reaffirmed Guyana’s vision for its oil and gas sector and broader energy industry—emphasizing strategic partnerships and sustainable growth. With over 1,200 participants from more than 20 countries and representation from nearly 200 exhibitors, the event solidified Guyana’s position as an emerging energy hub in the region .
